With its 250 years of tradition, Semmelweis University is an internationally renowned centre of knowledge, built on the integration of education, research and healthcare.
As programs are offered in three languages (Hungarian, English, and German), and international students account for almost a third of the almost 16,000 students studying at the University’s six faculties, it has a truly international community.
Semmelweis University is the largest provider of healthcare services in Hungary. Practical teaching takes place within the university’s clinics and hospitals, where patient care services are provided at the highest level.
